Definition; Luck is something that everyone has be it good or bad, well miracles don't just happen... as in happened!
Example; Duh?!! Isn't it obvious, we normally wishes luck but pray for miracles which may not even come true most of the times.. Haha...
So, what's the difference? Maybe to others there ain't such thing called miracle.. Worse still, they don't even believe in luck or fate, because they think that your destiny is in your hands, so what's there to believe or pray for?
But to me, I believe in them. The elder generation has always said that when your time is up then it is the TIME to go.. Go, as in go go... to the other realm. They said that your fate has already been written since the day you were born, thus there's actually nothing that we can actually do about 'em. So, why not let it be?
The first situation, imagine a patient having a 3rd stage cancer who's running out of time, do you seriously think that they'll just accept the fact as it is? I guess you'll know the answer rite? In this condition, seriously the patient's luck is running out to find the correct and suitable donor to save his/her life. And this is when those people who doesn't believe in miracle actually starts believing it because as you see, this is the very LAST hope, before all is loss. Or another example, a rich millionaire, who was recently diagnosed with liver failure, for drinking too much wine over the years?
My point is that there's a huge difference betwen luck and miracle... Sometimes thing happened where it's beyond our control, let's say in the first situation where the risk of being diagnose with cancer is very high since it runs in the family's generation and the second? That is self inflicting to me. Ok, I sounded like I am giving a sermon, huh? Haha.. So,what's the point of people wishing you luck before you go for... hmmm, let's say in an exam when you did not even bother to do your part, revising and stuff, and then prayed very hard the night before so that miracles happen to you that you'll pass your papers with flying colors? Sounds ridiculous? But trust me, if you are the 'smart' type, your good luck can definitely help though you to at least pass the paper just above the passing score. That I truly believe. Sometimes, I wonder, why is it that I've to work thrice as hard as others but in the end my result still doesn't meet my expectations? Studying the wrong method? Or simply they have the 'brains'? How do we actually study smart without studying hard too? Okay, I think I am a little out here. Back to where we are.. hmmm.. So, do you still believe in lucks and miracles?
My conclusion, without your own efforts, nothing can be made possible.. well, unless you've got a genie in the bottle? Sweet dreams then. The major difference now? That if you achieve your goals, it's due to your own hardwork, and thus you may not believe in your luck but MIRACLES happens only to those that sincerely wishes for it because no matter what you have done, and how hard you've work for it, without them, it may not be possible.
Peace...

Different Walks of Life
Definition; Life... hmmm... the very reason that you are here. You just gotta find it out yourself as different people leads different 'kind' of life, and thus the implicit meaning within differs to everyone.
Example; A life can take many forms, including the nature... hmmm.. To me, even the wind is a form of life.. Nope? Well, that's just my point of view.
Recently, I've rewatched one of my favourite korean drama, Save The Last Dance for Me after watching the whole seasons of Supernatural. Marathon, huh? Kinda... And just a moment ago, I've realised that the world around us is really HUGE.. Let me put it in a story form.
When I was on my way to the shopping mall to buy my groceries, a Kompressor drove by ahead of me, a couple I believe, and that reminds me of Kang Hyun-woo a.k.a Baek Chang-ho and Yong Soo-jin.. Haha.. Dramatic much? Suddenly, I wonder do those stories in dramas really happened in real life? Fat chance? (envy)
After shopping for my groceries, I had my lunch at Subway, (rewarding myself after mock exams), where i sit alone at the corner for almost half an hour eating and observing. Boy.. Do you know something? By just sitting and staring at all the different customers that walked in and out, is actually quite 'fascinating'. Weirdo? You can say so... First, I saw a family, parents and their two kids.. To think that those kids actually had a 12-inch burger each is simply too much a thought for me.. Haha.. Just kidding, I mean what do you really expect, right in these days where time have change and so is the world. The correct word, evolving. And then, suddenly I got carried away thinking of my schooling days where we had mi siput for lunch or a pice of roti canai. How I wish I could sometimes turn back time a little.. I guess almost everyone wishes for this some times or another. and right across my table, I saw a young couple probably in their teens 'feeding' each other.. ahhh, the hormones of love, huh? Look, I am definitely not implying that I am not feeling blessed that I don't have any such 'life' from what I've seen in just one trip to the mall, in case you misinterpreted. I definitely would not trade anything for what I have now... Oh well, maybe sometimes, when I am upset I might think and hope so... Gosh, I feel like I've lived up til a 100 years now..
Later on, I saw a guy entering. There's something about him that caught my attention. After stopping by a few tables, he finally stop at mine when I was about to chomp my last bite down. He smiled at me and then he produced a card. I smiled back at him and read the card. On it was written 'I am deaf. I have some...to sell for... Please...' Don't ask me what I did. But let me tell you that from all those people eating happily laughing away, I don't think I saw anyone reaching out to this guy. The smile did not disappear from his face as he walked out. I am not sure whether it's a scam or not, but i seriouslt think that this ain't any act. Something just doesn't feel right, don't you think so? Well, I'll leave it hanging loose here for you guys to do your own thinking.
On my way back, again I witnessed a different form of life, or lifestyle. For a moment I thought I saw rainbow right in front of me on a brighy sunny day, an artificial one though. I saw a bunch of teens, 2 girls and 2 guys. And what made them so special? One of the guys hair in a mo-hawk style in a bright bubbly pink color, which reminds me of Tonks Nymphadore in Harry Potter. I wonder whether it fluorescent in the dark. Haha.. And the other one, better still, a mixure of blue, green, purple.. you name it he's got it. Sounds like I am exaggerating? A little, yeah I don't deny it, but that's what I saw roughly. So, is it just weird? I mean, to think that some people are born with a diamond spoon in thier mouth, some worked like hell to get to where they are today, others are born with disabilities, and some are just perfect but they are not actually leading their life in the way it is supposed to be. And what's living the 'correct' path of your life? Beats me.. I don't have the answers. It's more like a hunch or something that you see and immediately you recognised whether it feels right or the other way. It's diffferent from what they say as judging the book by its cover. Many a time, I wonder what are these people actually thinking? I definitely (again) did not disagree with the way they chose to live, just that to me I feel like they have actually wasted a part of their life where they could be better off doing something else.
Talking about a matter of choice. If you have set your goals and are prepared to do anything to reach for it, i doesn't actualy matter when you' ll reach it, rather how you will reach 'em. It's the journey that counts. I believe that in almost all situation you got options to made, same goes in the way you choose how to live your life. You'll somehow, God blessed reach the same end, like Eun-soo in the drama. And personaly if you asked my opinion, I've rather lead such peaceful life in the Dreaming Forest with all my loved ones not having to give much thought on what's gonna happen tomorrow, monetary terms, polluted air, corrupted politic world etc. Just a simple simple life. How I wish? Geez, I thought someone just said that she was contented with the way her life is? Well, it's just a faraway dream. Trust me, eveyone now and then you need a dream and a wish. JUst one will be sufficient.
As i said, everyday is a different day, lucky us actually. So to live it well, it's your own choice. To waste it away, is also in your hands. Never ever compare what you have got now to those who has everything, but then to those that are less fortunate, and thus you'll feel grateful, thankful and whatevet '..ful' that you are after all still... YOU. Live your life the wqay you want it, easy to say but tell me, what's easy in this world?
Peace...

Searching For THe Lost Treasure
Definition; Go to the google search toolbar and type SEARCH. Treasure.. something so precious in your life that you can't live without it. (mind you, not just of monetary value)
Example; A little kid lost his/her toy just to find it stashed under the sofa cushion the next day. Or, another losing his/her precious collection of sea shells and never found it again.
Sometimes, the world around us works in a slightly different way than how we presume or expect it to turn out. And sometimes, when you really lose something that is so important to you at the moment, with a little twist of luck, you found it again many many years later when you no longer need it, and thinking back about how hard you have search for it, ahah... will then be one of those nostalgia that you will never forget. It's just that sometimes, I mean sometimes, the more you look for something that you badly treasure, you actually won't be able to find it, and instead it's most probably best when you stop searching.
So, what's the true meaning of lost? To me, it's something, that once it goes missing, it'll never be found again Sad isn't it? But that is the true meaning of lost. On the brighter note, sometimes (again) when you lose something, you might actually gain some other more precious treasure in your life, one that you'll never regret that the incident happened and feel glad that it actually happened to you of all the people. As they said everything happen for a reason, and that a new door opens whenever one shuts. Anyway, I'm not saying that you will never succeed in your lost hunt, but my point is to never take things for granted but to treasure what you have now, if there's many a time you thought you'll lose it for sure... but lucky you, you found it in the end..., before you really really LOST it for real!

Human Greatest Gift And Curse! The Power of Gap.
Definition; The full version, check in any Phsychology books. It's a very complicated process that I don't think I can fit it in one blog since the writor can write a whole bulky book on this subject matter, let alone a few volumes.
Example; What's the first thing that come to your mind when you found out the
unexplainable truth about someone you once look upon so high that all these years you have known him/her to be exactly the other horrible way round! So, what did you do next? Confront? Ignore?
Answer, normally people willl have the tendency to just listan to one party and thus made up their mind. Have it ever occur to you that maybe there's some sort of underlying burden beneath which gives them no other choice or at least what they are doing now is actually the best option available? To me, confrontation is definitely the right answer, since it can spare you from regretting your action when you actually found out the true TRUTH! Either way , never just listen to one party when making up your mind because obviously they'll tend to twist the fact in making you believe what's supposing to be the other way round. It's like how there's no end nor begining to a circle and which comes first? The egg or the chicken? That's not what you are looking for but rather the implicit reasoning.
Likewise, what will your immediate reaction be, when you know that that person is a prostitute? Trust me, 99.9% or 'well educated' person will be like. 'Ok, hmm... Don't mingle with them.' Let me get this straight maybe now in most globalise country there's no such thing as being naive. Try watching Slumdog Millionaire. Sometimes it's not the outcome that judge a person or situation but rather the process. In the movie, the main female character [Latika] may not even know that she's being treated with such care because she'll be their asset in earning income in the future, becoming a so=called 'dancer'. At that point, you don't even know, what's right and wha's wrong? I mean how do you know that honesty is the right policy and it's a good deed if you are brought up in a way where you survive the cruel world by pickpocketing? Only after years later, will you then figure it out yourself. So. is it too hard for the society to judge them at the very moment you what they are. By the way, this only applies to special circumstances like black market prostitution, which is actually happening everywhere just that it's really really 'dark'. Second chance? It's not up to you to decide.
Moral of the story, just because you heard something from someone without further details, the very least you can do, is keep it to yourself and not spreading it. In other words, just shut up! Is it even possible? I doubt so though..
Peace...

Getting Inspired!
Definition; Something that doesn't happen everyday, not even once in the blue moon that makes your day either so exhilarating you wish it was forever or vice versa, something so shocking and awful to the extend that you wish you were not born and 1 hour felt like ions. Well, inspiration is obviously the brighter side, but somehow, no matter how you might wish that everyday you'll get inspiration from what your day, just doesn't really happened to everyone, not to mention EVERYDAY!
Example; Envisage that you found out that 1 of your parents are actually not your biological parents or your 1 of your close friends of the same sex confessed his/her feelings to you!
Geez, I'm not saying that I've got issues with homosexuals or adopted parents here, but that are seriouly something that you don't see, find out or hear about everyday. Though, this in not what I really meant by getting inspired in a positive manner, what I meant was I seriously don't understand how a blogger actually had something to blog about everyday. Seriously! I mean if you are an advice columnist, at the very least there will be some people out there somewhere seeking for your advice and not to mention there's fresh issues now and then. And guess what, I'm definitely in the dormant category! Thus, I seriously still don't understand the concept of blogging everyDAY! And that's the difference between writing from your brain and your heart.
So, that's all.. till I get inspired in.. hmm.. sometime in the future...

Complexity
Definition; Certain issues that are so byzantine that you might not even figure out the answer or why it is so and not so even till the time you kick the bucket. Confuse? Complex? Convoluted?
Example; Eurobonds, any idea where it originates? Come on, of course you'll figure out that it's definitely not just from Europe.., just like French fries which isn't from France. Then, you'll ponder why make our life so difficult? Anyway, Eurobonds are actually abond issued in a currency other than the currency of the country or market in which it's issued.. in another words the word 'Euro' is just a general term. On why Euro in the first place.., welcome to a realm of complexity.
Funny how things work out sometimes, huh? I mean how can a psychiatrist analyse a patient by just a simple test, for example, a half full and half empty glass of water, determines roughly a person's personality or an abstract painting where three quarter of us don't even understand the intrinsic meaning that the artiste is trying to portray and etc. So, does that make us a lesser intelligent person? I don't think so.
Moral of the story, not everyone is meant to understand things that maybe you and I find it extremely interesting, but some people tend to think you are a weirdo. It's exactly like how Issac Newton was intrigued by an apple falling on his head and then BOOM.. he's one of the mega scientist in history. I believe that at the time when he first established the theory of gravity, people around him might think that he's just another one of thise mad scientist! My point being, you have to respect other people thoughts even if you don't quite agree with it. Since our brain is a rather complex system, the same applies to our attitude, emotions and the list goes on. As they say, a man's trash, is another man's art, thus whatever you do, do not disrepute people simply because you are not thinking alike about certain issues. As I said, it's a very complex world where understanding is and will never be easy.
P/s: Ain't talking about some serial killers, paedophiles or something of those categories...

Age vs. Maturity
Definition; As a matter of fact, age is just a figure, as in numbers exactly like why 60 seconds is equivalent to 1 minute, 7 days makes a week and 365 days makes a year, ahh... well 366 days in the case of a leap year. Can't you see that it's already fixed? Thus, I still don't understand the great big deal behind all these. In contrast, maturity level is something that is quite unexplainable since it depends on each individual. If axis-x is to be age, and axis-y represents maturity, frankly, it will never be always in direct proportion.
Example; Since picture worths a trillion words and I still can't fathom the true meaning and complexity within the word itself-maturity= in the process... for all I know might take centuries if I live that long! So try this movie based on a true story, 'The Escape From Huang Shi'. This movie depicts the oppression during the Japanese occupation, how 1 man breathes a new life into hundreds of orphans through a near impossible journey to... Ooops.. Let's not spoil the fun, I guess that should be enough for the synopsis. My recommend? Just put this show right on top of your Must-Watched list, you will never regret it unless you and I are not on the same wavelength.
Whoever told you that when you grow older, you'll be more mature, that's bull. Just because you are.. let's say 25 years old, it doesn't guarantee that you are thinking like one, and just because you are still underage also doesn't mean that you can't or as they say, not legally or mentally capable of understanding and making the right decision. A 13 year-old girl suing the parents for medical emancipation, a 12 years taking care of the younger siblings when their parents were killed in a road accident and so on.. So, is age alone justifiable to gauge the degree of maturity? Why don't you tell me.
The very fact that individual who carry such heavy burden and responsibility at such tender age, doesn't make them a perfectly mature person either because practically they have to as there ain't other alternatives available. In another sense, this individual has no choice but to give up his/her supposedly childhood moments and embraces the unforseeable future by himself/herself. It's no longer a matter of options, but more to responsibility. And I do believe that if they were given another choice, they will most likely wish to wind the clock, turn back time and enjoy the happiness and no-worries life of an innocent child.
So who those out there that feel frusfrated by their ascending years, think again.. because at the very least you get to enjoy the best time of your life at the optimal, if not maximum before time's up.
Peace...

Peace...
